Atlantic Ark Azores The Vessel – A 1992 Rodman 700 is a charter with a cabin.

The lower deck there is a bathroom with a sink, a bed that sleeps two people comfortably, and another sink with a small counter space that has a coffee machine.

On the upper deck there is a table with a refrigerator. The outer deck has multiple fishing holders and 4 people can fish Comfortably. You can also relax and watch the view for there is seating surrounding the outer deck. The engine is a 130hp Volvo Penta at top speed of 20knots But we usually cruise at 8 – 9 knots.

Location – Povoação is where we are located 60km from Ponta delgada with a speechless scenery with views of small towns and cliff sides. Tours – We travel to the east to a light house named Farol Arnel close to the area of Nordeste.

We also travel to the west circling the little island of Vila Franca. The wind and the weather determines which of these tours we do. Fishing – Coastal fishing, coastal trolling and deep sea fishing is what we do. There is also Big game fishing with other charters that we organize. The fish we catch are Mackerel, Trigger fish, Gilt head, Grouper, Barracuda, Wahoo and Bluefish. Its always a surprise.
